9 Jul Resting in Cadaques

Slept well but exhausted after several days of hard walking in the extreme heat.
Long breakfast then to Cadaques art museum, church and Udi and I swum round off the rocks.
Rested till walking to our scheduled visit to Dali’s House at Port Lligat.
We were really impressed with the lovely seaside setting, the perfect positioning of the mirror on their bedroom wall to reflect the sea, the long thin windows like at 24 Gillwinga, the attractive spanish guide and the short movie documenting Dali’s view that Perpignan was the centre of the universe.
Had a seafood dinner on the waterfront, sad it was our last night, pleased at what a good time we had, but noting to not walk in early July due to the heat.もっと詳しく
