    Boa tarde Mozambique, we have arrived!

    First stop, Gorongosa. After meeting the research team and having a tour of the infamous E.O. Wilson Laboratory, Marc and Piotr kindly arranged for us to accompany two students completing their masters in various areas of study, to a part of the mountain that was safely accessible. Due to political unrest and our timing, we were unable to successfully arrange an expedition to the top of the Mountain but greatly appreciate that we were able to explore the rainforest, and were awe struck by the phenomenal work that takes place at Mount Gorongosa and its contribution to both the local and scientific community alike.Read more
