Dar es Salaam, we didn't find your charm

We found ourselves somehow stuck in Dar es Salaam, a karmic debt from a past life, no doubt. Hopefully, that debt has been duly paid!
The pace, population density, and noise pollution were indecent and all-encompassing, and helped both David and me realise that even we can lose our sense of humour now and again.

Be that as it may, Skyla had some major work done on her suspension, clutch, shock absorbers, and even scored some brand-new tires for our upcoming journey to West Africa.

Deeply grateful for a small oasis we found, in Kwembe (where Skyla’s clutch took many days and nights being repaired), the staff at Alca Hotel were phenomenal and helped soothe our somewhat frazzled spirits. Asante Sana!
