Another Day... Another Airport

We left Kruger today, through some depressed areas. It's hard to imagine this is reality for so many people. Onto Pretoria, the capital city of SA. These Jakaranda trees are stunning, and Pretoria has 4-500,000 of them! They line every street. We had a quick stop to see the Union building ( parliament hill) and beautiful statue of Nelson Mandela. Passed a Budist Temple and Turkish Mosk, but sadly, shanty towns are all around as well. After the requisite souvenir stop we're back at the airport in Johannesburg for an evening flight to Cape Town.Weiterlesen
