Volcano Trek and Toucan Hunt

The beautiful Toucans were waiting to say good morning! They are just the most fun bird ! Their beaks are more than a third of their body size. We already know their sound and can pick them out when we hear the chirps. We hiked up to the Volcano look out. This ancient ruins for past worship of the volcano felt very real and symbolic. We could imagine past worshippers sitting here praying to the gods of the
Volcano. The hot springs were a great way to enjoy the afternoon before heading back to La Fortuna for drinks and dinner. Ooh La Forchetta was an amazing Italian restaurant! It was a great last day in La Fortuna at Los Lagos.Read more
