Lake Crossing to MonteVerde

We travelled through so much weather today! It started with a 30 min lake crossing, some fog and choppy water. Once on the other side we had a 1.5 hour drive up through the thickest clouds to about 4600 ft ASV. Then we broke through the clouds and into the beautiful sunny MonteVerde range. The weather around these mountain ranges is just incredible! They all seem to have their own systems. We spent the afternoon strolling around the cute little town, had lunch in a "treehouse" and opted into a rain forest night walk.
