The Magical Machu Picchu

While we had an idea what we would see today, nothing can compare to the beauty that is Machu Picchu! We boarded our bus at 8am to take us up to the entrance. Even the ride was breathtaking. Alfredo did an amazing job of guiding us through the ruins with his passion for this magical place. Pachamama was with us for sure, giving us this beautiful sunny morning! The ruins are spectacular and it's an enchanting place imagining the life that once was here, over 500 years ago. We were so spoiled, having the place almost to ourselves. There could normally be 3000 people here! Such a special day, we'll remember for a long time. And now the train back to Ollantaytambo and drive back to Cusco.Read more
