Luxor

Started the morning with a hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings - just amazing 🤩. Went up to about 1500m and soaked in the sunrise and surrounds. Then had to hightail it back to the boat to grab our stuff before the next crowd got on. Then we headed off to the Karnak Temple Complex. It comprises a vast mix of temples, pylons, chapels, and other buildings and is dedicated mainly to the sun god Amun-Ra. It was enormous as each pharaoh added to the structure with different designs and structures.
