Fes

A big day exploring the Medina of Fes (Fez El Bali) - it is the largest car-free urban area in the world and the capital during the 13th & 14th centuries. It is a warren of twisting lanes which if we had got lost I am not sure we would have found our way out. There are centuries-old monuments and mosques. We spent the day investigating the old university, the schools, the handicrafts including leather workers and weavers and more. Very full brain by the end of the day.Baca lagi
