Section 1 - From the Thames Barrier

The first section would end up being 15km long and take about 4 hours. I expected dull long stretches of buildings to be honest.

Instead the path went from the industrial area right at the start through yes, residential, areas right to major tourist attractions. And it did so with plenty of charming buildings, pubs and alleys in between.

Actually spend quite some time snapping away at my surroundings rather than making miles. It's nice not to be in a rush.Read more
