Interesting place. A walking tour with a local guide took us to Alexander Platz, the Reichstag building, the Berlin Cathedral, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Check Point Charlie, and the Berlin Wall. With the exception of the historic ones, the buildings were so stark and austere, even the recently built ones. A visit to the top of the Fernsehturm television tower highlighted the obvious difference between life on either side of the former Berlin wall.Meer informatie
