No trip to Europe would be complete without a visit to Venice and a ride on gondola. We spent the morning exploring the streets, alley ways, and piazzas, walked across the Rialto Bridge on the way to St Mark's Square and Basilica and visited the Bridge of Sighs. Next on the list was the essential gondola ride through the canals and along the Grand Canal for a different view of the city. After grabbing a quick coffee we took a cruise out to the island of Murano, where we saw a glass making demonstration. Then back on the boat and out to the island of Burano, famous for colourful houses and quality lace. Venice was, without a doubt, a very memorable part of our trip.Baca selengkapnya
