Kopenick palace

So decided to go local now the weather has broken and walk to Kopenick (the nearby town) and visit the palace. It's 8km mainly along the forest road. Fine when I set off but get caught in a long shower and despite waterproof jacket I was drenched on arrival. They were obviously setting up for an event and the palace doors were firmly shut. Fed up I sit on a bench with my water. Then I noticed the door open, taking my chance I go in yes it's open. No surprise I am the only visitor. Quite interesting. Now in a nearby cafe checking buses back.Weiterlesen
