The Big Buddha

Jordan and I got airplane tattoos back in Amsterdam months ago. I’ve been planning on adding more to it when my trip was complete - so I did it today and finished it up.

Then we headed up to the “Big Buddha”. It’s a 45 meter tall Buddha statue on the top of the tallest hill in Phuket. He was a very big Buddha. 😂 After, we decided to take one last hike - and it wouldn’t be one of our hikes unless we got a bit lost! There were two trails down - one very steep and difficult, and one that was flat and meandered it’s way back. We thought we were on the easy trail but turned out we made a wrong turn and found ourselves on the really steep one. So we spent a couple hours in the jungles of Thailand, slipping and sliding down some very steep areas. Made it fine and felt accomplished once down but dang, it was a hike.

We bought food at the night street market again for dinner and took it to the beach. We sat and ate our dinner and watched another beautiful sunset. I’m going to miss this.
