Lumpy ferry to mainland Scotland plus heavy rain, which soon abated.

Drive across the top to Durness and Balnakiel Estate where Cocoa Mountain and craft shops are located. This is a former military establishment, abandoned and then turned into craft workshops and accommodation.

Views on the return drive to Tongue where we are camped. The heatwave continues- over 20 C in the evening.Read more
