We begin our day by stopping at a lovely seaside community whose daily rhythms are guided by the rising and falling of the World’s Highest Tides. At high water, the colourful fishing boats bob in the water in the village harbour. Once the tide recedes, those same boats sit in the mud on the ocean floor!

Because of the angle of the sun at this time of day or was difficult to photograph the sea caves.

The first photo, if you look at the dock, you will see where the water line normally is when the tide is in.

The last photo is a photo i took facing towards where we parked our car... taken while we were out walking on the sea bed. Quite far.. and we were still quite a ways away from the water. The tide recedes really far! When the tide comes back in, all of this will be covered in deep water.Okumaya devam et

A nice huge beach. We didn't really have the time today to really walk down to it, but I did try to take a few photos from the side of the road.

Lunch! Seafood chowder and a beet and goat cheese salad. Photo number 2 is of the view we had while enjoying our meal. We would have sat outside but the tables outside were all taken when we arrived.

Hopewell Rocks Park

This place is a really cool place, but here is the deal... it was high tide, which is when you see the least, and it was really bloody hot out. To get to the "good" rock formations is a long downhill hike... that you will eventually need to hike back up. We... actually just bailed and looked at the one nearby rock and moved on. If it was low tide we probably both would have sucked it up and done it to see the rock formations typically covered by the water and be able to walk right up to them.

The one I took in the photo is Diamond Rock. If.you look carefully you can see a bit of the archway that would further reveal itself at low tide.
Last photo is in the interpretive centre and shows how much is covered/revealed by the tidal changes.Okumaya devam et

RCMP Monument

The Moncton shooting was a string of shootings that took place on June 4, 2014, in Moncton. A man shot five RCMP officers, killing three and severely injuring two. The shooting was the deadliest attack on the RCMP since the Mayerthorpe, Alberta tragedy in 2005 that left four RCMP officers dead, and also Moncton's first homicide since 2010.

This memorial is to honor the 3 fallen officers.Okumaya devam et

Fort Beausejour Fort Cumberland NHS

This National Historic Site is known as 2 fort names because it was named Beausejour by the French then renamed Cumberland by the British when the French surrendered the fort to them after the Battle of Beausejour. I took quite a few photos so I may need to split this into more than one post. It's always so hard to only choose 6 images.

Of course all that's left of the fort are ruins, but they've put signage with images to give you an idea if what you're looking at. I tried to incorporate them in the photos when I could.

We also spent some time enjoying some Parks Canada Red Chairs here too!Okumaya devam et

Another super cute place with a lovely yard. When we pulled in last night there was a family of deer in the yard. It was pretty dark so couldn't really get a picture of them.
