San Pedro de Atacama 1

We ended our Uyuni tour by crossing over the border to Chile, to the town of San Pedro de Atacama. We were grubby & dusty having not been able to shower for 3 days. Stinky. SPA is a sprawling town, mostly catering for tourists, of adobe houses, dusty streets and lots and lots of tour agencies, artisan shops selling local textiles (made in China) & dogs, lots of dogs. We bumped into a friend Gill, who we last saw on the Torres del Paine trek in Patagonia 6 weeks ago! Clare went horse riding with her the next day to Valle de la Muerte (Death Valley).
