Heading to Marks Roots

Not a gum tree in sight. Open flat fields with clumps of rural villages, not the random house here and there. The north of France continues its minimalistic theme. Residential architecture is quaint bordering poverty but so neat it is still very appealing. Busing from Paris to Amsterdam via Ghent in Belgium. Just a stones throw from Dunkirk (for those who know their history or have watched the movie). The scenery and my audio book “pride and prejudice” are making for a very contented trip ...and of course the company.Read more
