Day 15-Sintra Day 2

Today was a fairly leisurely day in the historic Portugal town of Sintra. We explored a little more on our own in the morning and then visited a former palace on another mountaintop nearby. It was quite impressive, but the only site I have ever seen so overrun with tourists is the Sistine Chapel. Many cities are experiencing tourism overload because of general tourism and cruise shop visitors. Sintra has to be in that group. We are heading into Lisbon tomorrow, doing a little touring, and getting ready for our Saturday flight. Georgie will be heading back to Pittsburgh and we will be heading to England.Read more
