Last Day in Seattle

After a nice breakfast of delicious French bakery and tea/coffee, we returned to the room and read the paper. I walked out to the market and nosed around a bit. Found a little bouquet of pussy willows which I bought from the Hmong lady flower seller, then got some anise seeds at a spice shop. Looked around some more and came back to meet Dan. We returned to the market to get lunch, then headed to the pier to catch the boat we’d booked on for a tour of the bay. We were inside which was good, as it was cold and raining outside! It was a fun trip and interesting as well. My pictures all show the rain on the windows!
Returned to the hotel and packed our bags. We have to leave the hotel at 5:30am, so an early night tonight. It’s been a fun introduction to Seattle for me, and return trip for Dan. We look forward to getting back home and being cozy inside as the winter temperatures stay pretty cold. Soon we can look forward to springtime!Read more
