Shopping in Historic Jenner's Department Store, opened in 1838, was the highlight of the shopping excursions in the city! Although the Princes Mall, Grassmarket, George Street and St. James Center were not too shabby either. Jenners is still located in its original position on Princes Street, although it was rebuilt in 1895 after a fire in 1892.
