Ouroboros is a symbol of the cycles of life, death and renewal. It is based on the ancient image of a snake eating its own tail, and reflects Lee's fascination with the cosmos. Entering the mouth of the sculpture, its darkened interior is illuminated by light beams emanating from thousands of handmade perforations. During the day, its surface absorbs and captures images of the surrounding environment. At night, Ouroboros returns its light to the world.Read more
