New England 2019

Back to Mount Desert to check out Bar Harbor. Everyone sorta split and decided to meet up for blueberry pie and coffee at around 9pm. Funny thing was, that we went to hike to Bar Island and there was Eric & Rachel, Dad & Mom and Nana. Great minds and all that... As we were walking across the bar, we talked to someone in their van who told us that in 15 minutes the water would be over the bar. We thought, "No way!" But Google said he was right. I called Mom, as they had started walking around the island, and they hoofed it back. From the time we were told at 6:20pm to the time when water was over the bar at 6:45pm, we watched people hurry back to Bar Harbor. Google said it's one of the locals favorite things, watching people get stranded on Bar Island. Thankful God allowed someone to warn us, we had no clue!Leia mais
