Exploring around our bush campsite

We went exploring today, walking towards the Ivanhoe Crossing, which we can hear as a dull roar in the distance. It’s about 1 kilometre up river from here at our bush campsite. Besides being a scenic walk, it gave Dave an opportunity to suss out some fishing spots from the bank.

We are seeing plenty of birdlife and lots of cows. This morning a bunch of young cows came frolicking down the hill just next to us. They were so cute the way they all stood staring at us curiously, then tentatively walked towards us before galloping away.Read more
