    We finally got the truck fixed and serviced and then went up to Cape Domett for a few days. A very scenic coastal camp in the Cambridge Gulf. Its very pretty here but the fishing hasn’t been fruitful and there is plenty of sand flies - nasty little biting sods! The trick is to put repellant on first thing in the morning and again through the day.
    The tides are huge, changing from high to low every 6 hours, at low tide you can walk for miles across the mud flats and in around the rocks and mangroves. Dave tried fishing off the rocks at high tide and caught a couple of small fish which he released and a huge sting ray which he had to cut loose.
