Most of the way I took was on the western side of the range so everything is very very dry until I went slightly east by about 20k but onto the eastern side of the range,a place called Dorrigo, and the change is not comprendable. They are as green as green, grass to burn , a lot of dairy farms. Such a relief after seeing so many farms in such a bad state. All this in such a small area!! The trees in the last range I crossed into Qld were so tall something like 30/40m maybe even taller amazing !! The roads were sealed but so rough and uneven I was averaging about 20 to 30k an hour and meeting logging trucks and that’s why the roads are stuffed.
