    Montezuma Well National Monument

    This was rather unexpected and really a great walk. Of course there were once again 185 stairs. I am getting some good physical therapy on my lazy legs. There was this large spring and it had about 20 mallards on it. They come to eat the leeches that infest the water. Plus Beaver creek that it empties into was in flood stage from the snow melt so it was all really pretty. Well except the leeches in the jar that the ranger was sharing.Leggi altro
