Punta Tombo

Gestern war ich in Punta Tombo, der grössten Brutstätte von Magellan-Pinguinen. Im Moment sind die Tiere gerade am Ausbrüten der Eier. Das wird abwechslungsweise von Männchen und Weibchen gemacht. Die Pinguinpaare bleiben sich ein Leben lang treu und kommen jedes Jahe zum gleichen Nest zurück. Sie sind unglaublich süss und haben überhaupt keine Angst vor Menschen.

Yesterday I was in Punta Tombo, the largest nesting colony of the Magellanic penguins. At the moment the animals are breeding their eggs. That is done in turns from both males and females.
