The sunshine welcomed me back to France yesterday! We spent the day with family- drinking “les trois c” (champagne, cointreau, citron) and eating great food.

Stéphane has been busy today helping his parents with the gardening and fixing gates while I sat back and relaxed on the terrace!

A good day today filled with French cuisine! Ratatouille and homemade bread for lunch, and tian provençal (oven cooked vegetables), canard, homemade cannelés de Bordeaux and of course French wine 🍷

Stéphane and I got taken around the beautiful city of Angoulême in the sunshine today - guided by Stéphane’s Mum and grannie. Excellent guides and such a cute place to visit with lovelyBaca lagi
Today, after an emotional goodbye to our French family- we drove across France to Lyon. We hitched a lift with “bla bla car” - very popular in France and a great idea!

After a lovely French breakfast of croissants, pain au chocolat et pain à la praline - we ventured into Lyon to explore the city!

Lazy morning for us today! Went for a stroll around the markets to get some fresh bread, fruit and veg... then back to the flat for a nice pancake brunch :)
