Exploring Lyon

After a lovely French breakfast of croissants, pain au chocolat et pain à la praline - we ventured into Lyon to explore the city!

Such a beautiful city- so many lovely buildings, boutique shops, cafes and bars everywhere, great views and the sun was shining!

We walked for hours, stopping for a tartine lunch, sorbet and ice cream, local specialities and to soak up the sunshine.

For dinner- we went to a cheese bar! We ordered 18 different cheeses which came with salad and specific things to eat with each cheese. With lots of French bread and red wine- heaven!

Loving my first Lyon experience- it’s great to have locals taking us around too. I’m sure we’ll be back!!Weiterlesen
