Kindness from strangers

Just 5 kilometers before the camping a massive rain started. We pulled over to put the rain coats on. We were taking shelter below the trees near their door, and a few moments later this kind old man comes and invites us in. Little by little the entire family comes out on the porch to sit with us - 2 generations and their dog, hiding from all the thunder. We chat about life, university options for their son and, of course, we are not allowed to leave without having at least a cup of coffee.
So much kindness, we were touched.
