Izmir traffic

Really bad timing for passing through Izmir. Not sure if the traffic is always this bad, or we simply happened to get there during rush hour, but we took forever to get to the other side. The traffic was chaotic - mopeds cutting through, lanes narrowing and people coming together from all different angles. I, Ioana, was relieved when we finally made it through. Rãzvan seemed to be enjoying the slalom more though.

I was also impressed by the two women selling pastries from their car, on the side of the road. They were both reading, as no one was there at the time.Read more
