Final Days in Marrakech

After the tour, we stayed a few days in a riad (classic Morrocan hotel) in the middle of the Medina. Literally, we walk 50 meters in we're in the midst of the markets. Getting up in the morning wasn't a problem as the mosque next door had their 6:30am call to prayers.

So we spent 3 days just getting lost in the maze of markets, something I think everyone needs to experience. I'm going to miss the hustle and bustle, the motor bikes racing down the narrow lanes, dodging the donkeys and carts, and the hundreds, if not thousands, of sellers vying for your attention as a gullible tourist.

And of course, the food... OMG! I shall miss the vegetable cous-cous and Harira soup... and tajines... and pastillas...

Leaving Morocco will leave an empty place in my heart... I guess we'll just have to come backもっと詳しく
