Cousins, Goats and baby calf

Dale's cousin Jackie and her husband Mark, both teachers, also own a farm in Cortland, NY. Visiting for an afternoon, we hung out with the goats and a new calf born yesterday. One of the kids had been rejected by its mom, so Jackie is hand-feeding it. Mama goat didn't care--she had another one at the same time and obviously hadn't learned that mom's must treat kids equally, even if one bugs you a bit. Hmm, analogy to real world?
