Belize and Howler Monkeys

Belize City, Belize, where we did an excursion to the Community Baboon Sanctuary, followed by Creole food. BTW, the Belizians use the term Baboon to refer to Howler Monkeys—which are NOT baboons! Iguanas, Agouti (looks like an overgrown guinea pig), Rufus hummingbirds, Kingfishers and so on.

A swim, dinner with a lovely Australian couple, an 80s trivia rounded out the day.Read more
