    After a beautiful winding drive through the Jefferson National Forest, we arrive in the charming—but a bit quirky—town of Georgetown, Kentucky. Located north of Lexington’s famed horse country, this area is more likely to have cows grazing than acres of horseflesh. Dinner was from a food truck built from an old horse trailer, in front of an Irish restaurant, while our liquor store run ended up next to a taxidermy shop. Add in beautiful Japanese gardens with the local Trinity Church selling “firecrackers for Mission”, presumably their church fundraiser to spread the good word. Georgetown has personality plus.Read more

    Doug and Lesley Froh's lovely dressage facility in Batavia, OH, where we met for our family get together. Peggy (oldest sister), husband Yossi, 92 year old Mom, and Doug (brother) and wife Lesley, all huddled together on their 20 acre farm, feeding horses, swimming in the pool and cooking out. Great time.Read more
