Snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay

On the Hoko Nui thru Sea Paradise, this was a year old 45 foot catamaran that took us to the Bay for snorkeling at 2 sites. This bay is rated as the 3rd best snorkeling 🤿 in the world. Wonderful colorful fish and lovely coral 🪸 while snorkeling for the first time in 30 years. Dale and Yosi dove down while I was strictly a surface swimmer. Loved it.Baca selengkapnya

A lazy day in Kona with lunch at Hugo’s on the Rocks, a farmers market, pineapple freezes and a wonderful sunset. We saw a NOAA submarine in the bay, while Yosi and Peggy bonded with the seal statue at the evening sunset.Baca selengkapnya

Horseback riding at 4D

One of the best rides in a long time —not a trail ride but rather just riding through the pasture on a working cattle range for 2 hours. Our favorite part was riding through a herd of cows and calves, with some beautiful longhorn cattle. Afterwards we stopped at a roadside BBQ with roasted chickens, empanadas, and had a picnic with all of the locals who come to this very popular spot.Baca selengkapnya
