RejsendeGreat question! There was no explanation in the description of the track I found yesterday, but looking some more this morning, I found another Wikiloc track to the same mine with an extremely complete description by a geologist. It turns out that it is a copper mine dating from the Bronze Age, later developed more by the Romans, and then by the British in the 1900’s.
