    Safari I

    November 14, 2022 in South Africa ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

Today started at 4 o’clock in the morning. I enjoyed a Roibush tea while watching sunset at the Inns balcony with view to the park. Afterwards we drove to Malelane Gate and entered Krueger National Park.

We were soon greeted by impalas. Cause the M looking pattern on there back side, they are called: MC Donalds. The fast food for the king of Africa. ;)

It followed ladies in white and black striped dresses and A group of very, very long throats.

I spotted a bird in a light blue feather dress and an orange mouth similar to an ice bird sitting in a bush.

A group of lions were laying in the grass while the male ate something big.

But most amazing highlight this morning was a group of elephants. There were around 10 animals with two tiny babies. They crossed the road and one of the baby fumbled, and quickly stood up as nothing happens.

Now we enjoy breakfast in the picnic station. There are no fance and we had to be aware of mischievous apes.
