Day2: Walking Tour & The Artist food

    November 30, 2019 in Romania ⋅ ☁️ 8 °C

    Good morning Bucharest!
Great breakfast with PAUL’s salt croissant.
Around 1pm, we visited 🌲Parcul Regele Mihai I. We walked around 2 hours, visiting the 🕍 Dimitri Gusti National Village Museum. It was a nice walking.

Then, we took the metro from Aviatorilor to Piata Unirii, to join at 3pm our 🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♂️Free walking tour🚶🏻‍♂️🚶🏽‍♀️!!! We choose ‘The story of Bucharest’. The guide was very useful to understand the history of the town. We strolled through more than 500 years of history from the times of Vlad the Impaler aka Dracula to the “golden era” of communism, the ’89 Revolution and today’s protests. She unraveled us many stories not to be found in guidebooks and explore the city with one of our passionate local guides. Top Highlights seen:
    - Stavropoleos Convent
    - Manuc’s Inn
    - Revolution Spots
    - Palace of Parliament
    - Victory Blvd.

Later, we went to Plata Contitutieri for 🎁 Christmas markets 🎁 in front of Palatul Parlamentului

For dinner we had a gorgeous culinary experience in The Artist Restaurant 🥘🍲🥮🧁🍷
