They give me the best Crib and Tree saw during this Christmas!
The restaurant was something gorgeous , I tasted a fish dish. The chef was able to perfectly mix flavors and presentation! Definitively recommended.

Ps. Tomorrow, I will meet the ‘Avventure nel mondo’ group 🌎. I’m so excited to Visit Mexico with new friends that I am sure I will love ❤️ !!

an eagle, holding a serpent in its talon, is perched on top of a prickly pear cactus; the cactus is situated on a rock that rises above a lake. The coat of arms is derived from an Aztec legend that their gods told them to build a city where they spot an eagle on a nopal eating a serpent, which is now Mexico City.

🗣 Posole (or Pozole)
According to anthropologists, this pre-Hispanic soup was once used as part of ritual sacrifices. These days chicken, pork and vegetarian pozole versions are readily available in more everyday surroundings. Made from hominy corn with plenty of herbs and spices, the dish is traditionally stewed for hours, often overnight. Once it's ready to serve, lettuce, radish, onion, lime and chilli are sprinkled on top.

📌The Aztec Sun Stone (or Calendar Stone) depicts the five consecutive worlds of the sun from Aztec mythology. The stone is not, therefore, in any sense a functioning calendar, but rather it is an elaborately carved solar disk, which for the Aztecs and other Mesoamerican cultures represented rulership.Read more

📍 THE COLOURFUL CANALS OF XOCHIMILCO, MEXICO

Xochimilco is a borough south of Mexico City mostly known for the colourful gondola style boats called trajineras

When people talk about visiting Xochimilco, what they’re usually referring to is the network of canals known as The Floating Gardens of Xochimilco rather than the surrounding area. The photogenic, brightly coloured gondolas, or Xochimilco Trajineras, that cruise up and down the waterways are what have made it so popular among both foreign and Mexican tourists alike.

And I’ve seen it variously described as the Mexican Venice, a cultural booze cruise, and even a youth club on water.

Yes, it’s touristy but it can also be a lot of fun. Locals head to Xochimilco to celebrate everything from birthdays to bachelorettes and even quinceañeras.Read more

📝🛕The city is heavily associated with silver, both with the mining of it and other metals and for the crafting of it into jewelry, silverware and other items. 💎 Today, mining is no longer a mainstay of the city's economy. The city's reputation for silverwork, along with its picturesque homes and surrounding landscapes, have made tourism the main economic activity.

In 2002, the Secretary of Tourism granted the city the title of ✨✨pueblo mágico ✨✨the third community to receive the title because of the quality of the silver industry, colonial buildings, and its surrounding landscape. Many of the buildings of Taxco are viceregal style and date back to its golden age and, because of this, it has become a popular tourist site of the state of Guerrero and México.
