Day trip with Bas

Our last day touring the Netherlands started with a slow, relaxed morning and breakfast. Sebastian (our tour guide) picked us up and we began our day sight seeing. Muiderslot Castle was a highlight of the day! We caught a ferry from Marken to Volendam (a popular fishing place) and enjoyed a nice lunch with Bas.
Our last stop was Zaanse Sehans where we climbed a few windmill’s and learnt how wooden clogs are made.

Sadly, our last night in the Netherlands has arrived. We spent the evening walking through Vondel park reminiscing on a busy yet once in a lifetime opportunity we have all enjoyed.
