Arriving in Cairns

Started our holiday with a 3am morning to the airport, before arriving in Cairns at 9am.
We spent the day exploring the hood of cairns.
Our first stop was a lively cafe - music, lots of people, great food, lots of dogs and a great front seat view of the ocean and mountains!

The Cairns Aquarium was our evening destination, after a tour through the aquarium learning about all the marine wildlife in northern Queensland, we finished our first day with a fine dine experience at Dundees Restaurant inside the aquarium.Read more
