Ha Giang Loop: Day 1

Up early at 7am was rough noting we got in bed only a few hours earlier. We jumped onto a bus to the beginning spot of the Ha Giang Loop. This is where we met the group we’d be with, our drivers and had breakfast! The group we have been put with are absolutely amazing! Small group of 9!
Before we knew it, the tour had officially started, we’d hit the road!
Day 1 was an epic introduction with surrounding mountains, waterfalls and lots of view points to stop at!
We had an hour stop over for lunch which was an amazing Vietnamese feast!
After a few hours of driving, we’d arrived at our first accomodation, checked in, dropped our bags and headed out to a nearby waterfall to swim!
This place was packed! Every tour seemed to have stopped by there!
Our group eventually headed back and cleaned up before our first dinner together! Another absolute feast of Vietnamese food! All sooo yummy! We tried ‘happy water’ (corn or rice wine) for the first time which is tradition on the ha giang loop!
As a conclusion to the night, karaoke and card games broke out! Such a fun Day 1! This tour is going to be amazing!
