    We are eating breakfast in the shadow of Castle Neuschwanstein, which we will tour later today, but first Hohenschwangau castle.
    Schwangau is translated as "Swan District." The Schloss Hohenschwangau is a 12th-century castle built by King Maximilian II of Bavaria and was the childhood residence of his son, King Ludwig II of Bavaria.Read more
