Sabbath

We have arrived in Lewis. Lovely cottage. Lovely location (Callanish Stones seen out of the window).
But have been very surprised by the message from our host... Tomorrow is Sunday. All shops closed. Even tourist attractions are closed. Restaurants mainly closed. And no washing nor playing games??? We've learned that in Lewis they live a very, let's say traditional, life. I'm worried now about taking out my camera tomorrow...Leggi altro
