Lost Place Scalpay

I'm fascinated by lost places and although one can find them in abundance in Harris, there are always some special ones, like this in Scalpay. It was an occupied house in the 60s and you can still find some remains of the former residents.
Walking carefully over broken floor boards, glass sheds and roof pieces, I see the beauty of the decay and keep imagining all the stories the people of this house might have experienced.Read more
