Vegan in Faroe

Being a vegan in the Faroe Islands is challenging.
The (quite large) supermarket had only a few milk alternatives plus the chocolate mousse. And Hummus. Not even a simple burger. The veggie and fruit Czytaj więcej

It's a wee bit windy in Faroe... In Elduvik are flying benches (and lampposts).
Still beautiful and very scenic.
And surprisingly relatively warm, despite the wind.
Forever sunset

In early summer the sunset lasts 2 hours and the blue hour goes straight into sunrise. It's never really dark. Here a sunset at 10:30pm in Vidareidi.

The Eysturoyartunnilin is a rather new (December 2020) more than 11 km (7.5 miles) long and almost 200 m under the sea tunnel. It even features a roundabout.
The smallest capital

Winding road with unpredictable weather

Norðradalur is a very small village with two farms. To get there you have to drive a small and winding road with spectacular views to the Atlantic and the Koltur Island. But also with rather Czytaj więcej
