About hobbits and the maori culture

I thought it was always sunny in the shire, unfortunately there is cyclone coming towards us that makes it a bit wetter these days. Despite this it was nice to wander in the beautiful movie set of the lord of the rings.

Saw the haka for the first time in the tamaki maori village, very impressive. The haka is a type of ancient Māori war dance traditionally used on the battlefield, as well as when groups came together in peace. Haka are a display of a tribe's pride, strength and unity.Leggi altro
