Fiordland

Milford sound, also known as the valley of hundred waterfalls, is one of many fiords in Fiordland. This breathtaking place is declared as a world heritage site with cliffs up to 1200 m rising out of the dark water. I'm staying here for two days with the purpose to dive. Due to a natural phenomenon called 'deep water emergence,' deep-water animals can be seen in the shallow waters what makes it an unique place to dive. Unfortunately it was cancelled, but I got a free boat ride through Milford Sound instead.Les mer
